GodLight Possibilities Meeting Recap – October 20, 2023

To address this issue:
As a survival mechanism, evolution seemed to require a very self-serving nature. This inbred
selfishness has become an existential issue. To adapt beyond aggressiveness in survival mode
towards cooperation and collaboration so we can all survive and thrive.

We posed this question:

Can we do something to stop our self-destructive nature?
We engaged in a deeply thought-provoking discussion surrounding the obstacles
interfering with human mutuality and engage in possibilities promoting harmony, unity,
and meaningful collaboration.

As our discussion progressed, we sparked ideas for addressing universal psychological needs:

  • Peace of mind – calm our uncertainty.
  • Connection – with God, with Others, With God and Others.
  • Meaning – contribute to life.
  • Hope – grief support in the afterlife.

During our collaborative session, we made numerous observations, identified obstacles, and explored
possibilities to consider towards solving self-destructive tendencies and moving towards peace and unity where individual and collective needs matter for everyone.

We made several observations including:

  • What is the “We” in the united front?
  • Our society is intoxicated with the notion of self.
  • We are spritual beings having human experiences.
  • We are born in the image of God.
  • God doesn’t take anything personally; can we be more like that?
  • If we hit a chord on an instrument, is it good or bad?
  • Instrument has to be in tune before you play it.
  • Pure tones are single vibrations over time.
  • Our DNA at our very core is Light.
  • Love is a state of being.
  • Difference between faith and spirituality.
  • Light is the only thing that dispels darkness.
  • We have produced a lot of things that have caused separation.
  • In Sanskrit no pronoun is needed.
  • Does AI have consciousness?
  • Clare Graves – maps levels of consciousness, look at it as groups, start at zero as in infant.

We identified some obstacles:

  • Forcing an identity of a cultural presence on others.
  • Who gets to decide what is self-destructive?
  • Incursions versus inclusions in our mind.
  • There can be no inclusion without exclusion.
  • Tribes can lead to self-destruction.
  • Tribes will perpetuate the tribe rather than focus on its purpose.
  • Leadership advocates for us not being together.

We shared these possibilities and more:

  • The most encouraging first step to take is to listen in a non-intellectual way.
  • Become a present listener.
  • Scale of Light
  • Trinity of safety, security, and freedom
  • A Course in Miracles
  • Can we harness technology, AI, and ourselves?
  • Learn to be personal and not take it personal
  • When we interact with others, we can create something.

Next Steps:

  • Take a closer look at some of the topics shared in this initial GodLight possibilities session.
  • We’ll take a deeper dive into the intersections of science & spirituality to fortify the journey to oneness, harmony, mutuality, collaboration, and universal love.
  • We’ll provide more practical ideas related to how to “Be the Light” and to live in GodLight.
